Alan Stephen Halter
The family of Alan Stephen Halter regretfully announce his sudden passing at home in Toronto at the age of sixty. Loving brother of Frances (Paul Patterson) of Hudson, Quebec, and Nancy (Neil Wener) of Waterloo, Ontario. He was pre-deceased by his parents, Jack and Ethel Halter (nee Gary) of Toronto.
Born October 11, 1961, Alan grew up in Red Rock, Ontario and Montreal, Quebec. As a graduated Certified Management Accountant, Alan had a long and successful career in the private label frozen food and coffee roasting businesses, leading many important projects.
Following his early retirement, Alan devoted himself to visiting family and friends, and other travels. He also enjoyed recreational activities including a newfound passion for cycling and fitness. He was a sci-fi and Star Trek buff, and the family’s resident technology expert and consultant on financial matters.
Alan is also survived by nieces Jennifer (Patrick Trottier), Erin (Derek Bowen) and Marissa, and nephew Andrew (Amanda Lento), and four cherished grand-nieces, Charlotte, Brooklyn, Madeleine and Lucie, who will dearly miss their Uncle Aly.
Alan’s early passing leaves his family bereft, but memories of our time together will live on forever in our hearts.
Pass the Ruffles chips, Alan.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Alan Stephen Halter 2022..
