Obituary
Boom, Akke “Ann”- Passed away peacefully at Woodstock Hospital on Tuesday, February 8th, 2022, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Henry Boom (2002). Cherished mother of Bob (Heather) and Sherry (Mark) Sciurko. Proud grandma to BJ, Stephen (Norm), Ted (Tiffany), and David and great grandmother to Keenan, and Kadence. Adored sister of Siene, Annie (Jacques) Sievers, Helen (Gary) Westra, Foukje (Rein), Alice, Ida, Eddie, Edwyne (Trynie). Predeceased by her siblings John, Frank, Hank, Baukje, and Sjoukje. Ann will be missed by several nieces, nephews, and extended family. Friends are invited to join the family on Saturday, February 12th, 2022, at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home (845 Devonshire Ave Woodstock Ontario) from 10:00 to 11:00 am with service to follow at 11:00 AM. Burial to take place at Oxford Memorial Park. Attendees are asked to RSVP for both the visitation and service online at www.brockandvisser.com. Mask are required. If desired, memorial contributions to the Community of Christ Church in Cornith would be appreciated and may be arranged through the funeral home, 519-539-0004.
