It is with heavy hearts the family announces the sudden passing of Airlie Roxanne Dagenais on December 8, 2022.
Beloved daughter of Robert Dagenais (predeceased) and Dolly Dagenais (Ed Libid). Loving partner to Darren Raynor. Cherished mother of Walter Dagenais (Meghan) and Arthur Dagenais and granddaughter/goddaughter of Bernice Adkins. Dear sister of Jennifer Etmanski (Don) and Kim Miron (Norm). Treasured godmother to Chenelle Desjardins. Sadly missed by her dog Coby.
She loved and wished the best for her boys.
Airlie attended Sudbury Secondary School and at that time was involved in gymnastics with Sampo Hall, acrobatics with the Sudbury Laurels and was a part time fitness instructor at Lady Fitness. She also worked as a waitress at Maria’s Cozy Corner Restaurant. Airlie was also a winner of several beauty pageants.
Arlie’s love for the great outdoors started at a young age where she spent time with her family at their camp on Nepewassi Lake. She continued camping on that lake as a young mother, introducing the boys to her passion. She became quite the angler and taught her sons some of her fishing tricks. She spent many summers at different areas with her trailer, boat and motor enjoying what she loved best.
Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury. (Friends may call after 1:30pm Friday, December 16, 2022). Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, Friday at 3:30pm. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium.
