Agnes Siokalo (nee Connor) passed away peacefully in hospital on May 5, 2022 at the age of 90. She was born in Dundee, Scotland. She and husband Wasyl Siokalo settled in Toronto, Ontario where they raised their 5 children.
Agnes was a loving wife and best friend to Wasyl Siokalo (deceased 2011) for 61 years. She was the beloved mother of Kathleen (Dominic), Michael (deceased 2021, Linda), Roy (Norma Lee), Karen (Dan), and Linda (Dwight). She will be sorely missed by her grandchildren Michael (Jennifer), Brian (Rachel), Michelle (Grant), Sarah (Bob), Mallorie (Christopher), Melissa (Jesse), Stephanie, and Celia. She was a great grandmother to 10 great grandchildren: Megan & Andrew Siokalo, Mia, Sage, Ari & Mac Leni, Henry & Aidan Howe, Arianna Guthrie, and Madison Rice.
Agnes enjoyed being active by going for walks to get fresh air. She absolutely adored all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved spending her time with all of them. She always made it a point to be there for important events in their lives so that they knew how much she loved them. Nanny was a very important person to the entire family and will be greatly missed.
