Helen was born in Coaldale, Alberta, March 18, 1940. She passed from this life into the presence of her Lord on April 29,2022 . She is survived by her loving husband George of 60 years, her daughters, Kelly (Conrad) and Tracey. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by her seven grandchildren and spouses and 5 great grandchildren.
Helen was very active in the communities where she and George lived. She worked as a realtor in Richmond and Surrey for 20 years. She enjoyed her 20 plus years volunteering at the Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Store. She was also actively involved in the various churches she and George attended over the years.
Tennis was her passion and she was able to play until the end of October. Her tennis buddies here and in Palm Springs will miss her. Helen had many friends and we are all so grateful for their love, support, prayers and encouragement during her battle with cancer. Throughout her life and her battle with cancer, Helen’s faith in Jesus Christ as her saviour was unshakable!
A special thank you to the doctors and nurses who cared for Helen at home and in hospice. You are truly angels in disguise.
A celebration of her life will be held at Peace Portal Alliance Church – 15128 27B Ave. Surrey, B.C. on Tuesday, May 17,2022 at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Peace Arch Hospice Society 15435 16A Avenue, South Surrey, B.C. V4A 1T2
