1949-2022
SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB – Adrien Richard, 72,
passed away peacefully at the Villa Maria, Saint-Louis-de-Kent on
Tuesday, February 1st, 2022. Born in Rexton, he
was the son of the late Edouard and Léona (Leger) Richard.
Adrien loved listening to music and loved a good Tim
Horton’s coffee.
Adrien will be sadly missed by his sister, Irène
Gallant (late Paul) of Winnipeg, MB; his four brothers, Josephat
“Joe” Richard (Raymonde) of Saint John, Gilles Richard
(Nicole), Roger Richard (Lisa) and Fernand Richard (Nicole), all of
Saint-Charles; two sisters-in-law, Aline and Sylvia, both of Saint
John; as well as by his many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Adrien was predeceased by his two
brothers, Patrick and Normand.
Visitation will be held at Thompson Funeral Home, Richibucto
on Monday from 9:00 am until the departure for the funeral. A funeral
mass will be celebrated on Monday, February
7th, 2022 at 11:00 am,
Saint-Charles-Borromée Roman Catholic Church,
Saint-Charles.
The family would like to say a special thank you to
L’Auberge Saint-Louis, who took great care of Adrien for the
many years he resided there and also to the staff at La Villa
Maria.
Following provincial COVID-19 regulations, a maximum of 50
people at a time will be allowed in the funeral home, visitors will be
required to provide proof of double COVID-19 vaccination and
government issued ID to enter the funeral home and church, masks are
mandatory and we ask that social distancing is
respected.
Arrangements are in the professional care of Thompson Funeral
Home, Richibucto. (523-4252).
