Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s on July 6, 2022 Ada May Ivany age 94, formerly from Lower Lance Cove.
Predeceased by husband Wilfred (2020); parents Albert and Frances George; sister Lily Reid; brother Wilfred George.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories daughter Elaine (Boyd Gibbons); sisters: Gertie Day (Bob – deceased); Evelyn Goulding (Jesse);
Ivy Martin (Charlie); Hazel Marsh (Fred – deceased); Florence Clarke (Harold – deceased); Dallas Adams (John); Melvie George; sister-in-law: Pearl George as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Visitation at Vardy’s Funeral Home, Hickman’s Harbour on Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 10:00 – 12:00. Funeral service, officiated by Rev. Elsie Squires, will follow at 2:00 at the United Church Britannia with internment following at the United Church Cemetery, Britannia.
Donations in her memory may be made to the United Church Cemetery Fund Britannia.
