In Loving Memory
Mr. Abrahm “Abe” Thorpe passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022 in his 48th year. Growing up in Port Dover, Abe developed a love of sports especially hockey, basketball, and baseball. He was also an avid guitar player and musician with a love of all music from a young age. Abe will be remembered as a hardworking individual who always took pride in his work, most recently as distribution centre manager at Sinclair Dental Co. Ltd. Abe will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Mackenzie and Maddy; their mother Carolyn Thorpe (nee MacDonald) of Simcoe; and his parents Robert and Sheila (nee Richards) of Thorold. He will be greatly missed by many extended family and friends. Predeceased by his Step-Mother Eveline “Evy” Godron and grandparents Ann & Rudy Godron, William & Inez Richards and Altha & Donald Thorpe. A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, December 4, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the family farm, 37 Windham Rd. 14, Simcoe , Ontario . A private family inurnment will take place at a later time. Donations to the Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charity can be made at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) and will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
