Keith Peppard (AK), 79, of Riverview, NB; passed
away following a sudden illness on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Monarch
Hall with his family by his side. Born in New Glasgow, NS; he was the
son of the late Albert and Edna (Murray) Peppard.
Upon graduating from Pictou Academy, he joined the Bank of
Montreal working in two NS branches; New Glasgow and Lunenburg, in
Stephenville, Nfld. He served with the RCAF Police prior to joining
Avco Financial where he served in various centers in NS and Moncton.
He later retired from a sales career of 27 years with Atlantic Lottery
in 2003.
He was a member of St. John the Baptist Anglican Church in
Riverview. He was past director ot the North Sydney Jaycees, past
member of the Board of Directors Omista Credit Union, past member of
several committees Moncton Co-op Center, past member of Corinthian
Lodge #63 AF&AM Great Village, NS, a charter member of the
Riverview Gyro Club, a past member of the Riverview Kinsmen and K-40
clubs, past President of the Riverview PC Assoc. and a former member
of the Moncton Club. Keith was a long-time Blue Jays
Fan
He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Hiltz) (Coffill); his
two daughters, Kimberlea (Jamie) Sears and Donna (Rob) Wells both of
Riverview; his son, Sean of Fredericton; a sister, Linda RN aka Bug
(Larry) Hamilton of Durham, NS; by three grandchildren Ryan and
Jessica Wells, Brea Sears; step-children Cpl (Ret) Bruce Coffill of
ON; Lynda (Wilfred) Andrews of Kentville, NS, Shelley (Randy) Aalders
of South Alton, NS and Shirley-Anne (Lee) Mailman of Fall River, NS.
step-grandchildren, Ryan and Laura Andrew, Dr. Joshua (Melody) Aalders
and Jacob Alders, Tiffany and Cody Mailman
Besides his parents he was predeceased by two
step-grand-daughters Michaelia (infant) and
Sarah.
Honouring Keith’s wishes cremation has taken
place
A private service will be held at Mahon Cemetery, Great
Village, NS at a later date.
Donations in Keith’s memory made to a local branch of the
SPCA would be appreciated.
A special thank you to the nurses and staff of Monarch Hall,
for your level of care, your acts of kindness and compassion given to
Keith and to our family will never be forgotten.
