Roger Allan Sanford 1959 2022

Obituary of Roger Allan Sanford
With broken hearts and much love, we announce the passing of Roger, aged 62, on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at his home in Cogmagun. Born in Windsor on July 12, 1959, he was the youngest son of the late Gordon and Doris (Mackenzie) Sanford.
Roger was a loving husband, father, grampy and great-grampy. He was an outdoorsman who grew up working in the woods and hunting alongside his father. He held various jobs over his lifetime, spending over 10 years with McDonald’s Landscaping, 25 years at the Hants County Exhibition and finally, working locally at Cogmagun Poultry for the last eight years. He was a great father who was proud to see his boys follow in his footsteps and begin working at the exhibition, just as he had.
Roger is survived by his loving wife, Donna; sons, Mike, Justin, and Kyle; grandchildren, Jacoba, Makayla, Hudson, Bentley and Logan; great-grandson, Carter; siblings, Richard, Marilyn and Tanya.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by mother-in-law, Iona Faulkner and son, Mark Faulkner.
Special thanks to friends and co-workers, Monica Strum, Cameron Taylor, Matthew Griffin and Gilford Strum for being there in a time of need. His co-workers were his extended family and he loved them dearly.
Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Roger may be made to your charity of one’s choice. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family by visiting: www.demontfamilyfuneralhome.ca
