Jean Alice Hetherington, wife of the late Alvin Hetherington of Quarryville NB, passed away Wednesday evening April 13, 2022 at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 87.
Born in Newcastle NB, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Louise (MacDonald) Walls. She was retired from Miramichi Hospital and a member of St. Andrew’s United Church, Blackville.
She is survived by four daughters, Judith (Judy) Hetherington, Darlene (Gary Coakley), Tammy McNeil (Gary) and Karen Burke (Dean), one son Derrick Hetherington, two sisters, Sharon Gillespie and Helen Astle, three brothers, Reginald Walls, Keith Walls and Gordon Walls, 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Besides her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by one son Ronald Hetherington one sister Judy Walls and two brothers Robert Walls and Allan Walls.
Jean Alice Heatherington is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, Miramichi, with a private visitation on Monday from 4p.m to 7 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held Tuesday at a time to be announced at Davidson’s Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in St. Mark’s United Cemetery, Quarryville, later in the spring.
