Obituary of Joyce Louise Kelterborn
Kelterborn (nee Bardoe), Joyce Louise – Passed away peacefully, loved ones by her side, on Monday April 11, 2022 at Guelph General Hospital. Joyce, in her 82nd year, beloved wife of late husband Terry. Loving mother of Brenda and husband Donald and Barbara and husband Jeff. Cherished Nana of Christian and his wife Melaina, Brandon and Terah, Melissa, Hilary and her husband Nick, Laura and her husband Joel. Doting Nana to her great granddaughters Evan Leigh and Parker, who were the apple of her eye! Fondly remembered by her nephew Ray Kelterborn, his wife Pat and family, as well as her beloved English relatives Ruby, Malcolm and Eileen. Remembered by so many family and friends who had lost touch over time, but have shared fond memories and touching stories. Joyce worked 18 years for the Catholic Children’s Aid Society in Toronto as an Executive Secretary and as an IT Manager, before retiring due to health issues and to become a fulltime Grandmother. Joyce will always be remembered for her matching fashion sense, love of earrings and her phenomenal gardening skills. Thank you to the staff at The Village of Riverside Glen where Joyce resided for the past 2 years, and to the competent and compassionate staff in the Guelph General Emergency Department. Family and friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Sunday May 1, 2022. Visitation from 11 – 1pm, 1 pm service presided by Father Brian Galligan, immediately followed by a reception in The Trafalgar Room.
