Obituary for
Simon Levesque
It is with great sadness that the family announces his peaceful passing at his residence in Chelmsford, with his loving family by his side, Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the age of 87 years. Son of the late Xavier and late Diana (née Bouchard) Levesque. Loving father of Stéphane (Shelley), Nancy Hoffman (John), Mario (Linda) and José. Dear brother of André (late Marie), Céline Delisle (late Marcel), Marie-Paule Delisle (Yvon), Andréa Boucher (late Jean) and Rosaire (Fernande). Predeceased by his siblings Rita, Francois (Stella), Paul-Émile (Ange Emma), Thérèse (late Arthur), Gertrude and Benoit. Cherished grandfather of Kelsey-Lynn (Pierre), Stéphanie, Cassandra (Trevor), Richard, Jay, Patrick, Jenna, Mélodie (Devin), Nicholas, Alexandre, Bella, Nathan, Ryan, late Samantha and great-grandfather of Serena, Alani, Cloé, Kaylee, Savannah, Jacquelyn, Brydan, Julie and Isabella. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. We will always remember waking up early on a Sunday morning to go to church with you, the large family meals you would make for everyone, and walking through your perfect vegetable gardens. Many of our fondest childhood memories were because of you. You were the glue that held our family together, we felt like a family because of you and everything you did for us. Heaven surely gained a great man full of strength and love for his family. We know you are already up there with Samantha watching over our family. We love you (written by Mélodie). A memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 11 a.m. at St-Joseph Church, Chelmsford. Donations by cheque or online to the Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca
