Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Luke James McKinney passed away on April 8, 2022 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on June 2, 1973, he was the son of Brenda McGuire and the late James Arthur McKinney.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his son Blake McKinney of Grand Bay-Westfield, daughters; Melissa McKinney (Dakota Veniot) Saint John, Olivia Fisher of Banff, AB, and Misty McKinney of Rothesay, sisters; Nora McGuire of Saint Andrews, NB, and Amber Lynn McGuire Oursien of Moncton, NB, granddaughter Lulla Veniot, nephews; Riley, Dominque, Oliver, and Abraham, and his niece Madeline.
He was a mechanic by trade and also worked in automotive sales. He was a member of the Saint John Gun Club and was a marksman. He was interested in science and was an inventor.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) where visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, from 2-4 and 6-8pm. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 2:00pm at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
