Last night, at the hospital in Gander, NL, our friend, Prof Jack Harvey, passed away. He was about 4 months shy of his 100 birthday. Regrettably, we were not with him at the time of his passing.
Prior to his retirement in Glovertown, NL, Prof. Jack last worked, for a number of years, in the Physics Dept. at Memorial University, St. John’s.
After his retirement, he became especially involved in gardening. Also, his study of the Bible– and his interest in both writing and freely expressing his thoughts about it— continued throughout his later years.
As far as we understand, Jack will be cremated; and his remains will be placed, according to his wish, with those of his grandparents; in a cemetery, near Peterborough, ON.
Jack will be fondly remembered; and mourned by all of us, who respectively knew him.
Gerard and Yuvadee Feltham,
Glovertown, NL
