Obituary of David Ralph Crabtree
Crabtree, David Ralph – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Dad, David Crabtree on Tuesday April 5, 2022. He died peacefully at WLMH with his family by his side. Loving husband to Kaye for 48 years (predeceased)
He will be terribly missed by his children Rob (Sherry), Kathy (Rito) and Jim (Elisa). Proud and loving grandfather to Harrison, Kalli, Ashley and David.
He is predeceased by his parents, Isobel and Harry, brother, Richard and sister, Sallie. He is survived by his older brother Peter.
He will also be missed by many other family and friends
David’s immense love and pride for his family was evident in all his actions. His pride and joy came from his family and his cherished farm in Beamsville. He was nostalgic for Ottawa where he was born and spent his formative years. He enjoyed entertaining and loved having big family meals together.
He was a successful professional engineer and worked for a variety of companies throughout his career including, the E.B. Eddy Company, Stelco, Columbia Carbon, E.S. Fox, Marsh Engineering, Robert Globe Electric, and Crabtree Engineering.
Visitation will be held at Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St., Vineland on Tuesday April 12 from 6-8pm. A private graveside service will be held at Mount Osborne Cemetery on Wednesday April 13.
Immense gratitude to the kind staff on the second floor at Albright Manor for their excellent care. Donations to Albright Manor or West Lincoln Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
