Roy Brooksbank April 27 1927 April 5 2022

On April 5th 2022, peacefully, and on his own terms, the world lost a shining light. Roy Brooksbank in his 95th year, was a beautiful example of a life well lived. His complete devotion to his family, deep faith and love for service, shaped who Roy was and allowed him to create a legacy that goes beyond the material. Roy leaves behind a family he was incredibly proud of. Loving husband, and partner in his life for 73 years to Anne, father to Douglas, Arlene (Bartley) Campbell and Susanne. Doting grandfather of eight, always eager to support any interest of theirs with a passion like he was out there himself. Great grand-father to 13. Roy, the Wee Chirper, Brooky, Gramps, Grampa, we will miss you and nothing can replace the hole you leave in the heart of everyone that you have blessed. You should be incredibly proud of the beautiful legacy you have left for generations to come.
God has finally met you “At the River” and has welcomed you home. “Well done good and faithful servant”
