Passed away peacefully at her home, on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 in her 79th year. Beloved wife of the late Franco Scala. Loving mother of Luigi Scala (Jolanta) and Domenica Scala. Proud Nonna of Thomas and Emma. Daughter of the late Francesco and the late Crocetta DiBartolomeo. Dear sister of the late Maria Celani (late Pietro), Carmine DiBartolomeo (Assunta), Lucia Ciuffreda (late Giuseppe), Mario DiBartolomeo, and Sandra Golini (Giuseppe). Daughter-in-law of the late Luigi and the late Domenica Scala and sister in law of Maria and the late Aldo Scala, Rosa Scala, and Antonia and Carlo Colatosti. Remembered by Concetta Scala (late Giulio) and lovingly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Friday, April 8, 2022 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary 934 Highway #8 Stoney Creek on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 10 a.m. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Reception to follow at Immaculate Heart Parish Hall. If desired, memorial contributions to The Kidney Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
