Obituary of Mr. Antonio Savella
It is with great sadness we announce the tragic and sudden loss of Antonio Savella who passed away at the age of 70 on April, 3, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Antonio will be survived by his three son’s Carmelo-Anthony (Jacqueline), Mark (Sarah) and Michael (Randa). Antonio was born in Monteleone, di Puglia, Italia to Colomba Morra and Carmelo Savella, with siblings Pasquale (Vita), Filomina (Rocco), Rocca, Giuseppina (Antonio) and Maria-Rosaria.
Antonio was a beloved father and Nonno who loved being surrounded by his family. Antonio was a well-known appliance repair entrepreneur. He mastered many other skills and was often called upon by his community. Antonio enjoyed spending his additional time as a member of the Monteleone Social Club and the Oshawa Skeet and Gun Club. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.
We would like to share this poem for those in mourning;
“You can shed tears that he is gone
Or you can smile because he has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that he’ll come back
Or you can open your eyes and see all that he has left.
Your heart can be empty because you can’t see him
Or you can be full of the love you shared.”
