Obituary of Maureen Emily McRae
McRae; Maureen Emily (nee Briceland) – Passed away peacefully at Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at the age of 85. Cherished wife of Frank McRae of 63 years. Loving mother to Ken McRae (Karen), Kim Welk (Robbin), Tracy Kingston (Jay) and Mike McRae (Theresa). Doting grandmother to Alexander (Chelsea), Christopher (Raye), Lindsay, Emily (Justin), Allison, Chelsey (Seamus), Alyssa and Greg and 1 great-grandchild on the way. Maureen will be fondly remembered by her brother Donald Briceland. She was predeceased by her parents Eugene and Dorothy Briceland (nee Burnside) and sisters Margaret MacKenzie and Patricia Watson. Maureen will always be in the hearts of her many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
There will be a Mass at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 392 Palace Road on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 1:00 pm. Burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Masks are not mandatory, but strongly recommended. Memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society to honour Maureen if desired.
