A Mother is your first friend, your best friend, your forever friend
It is with the heaviest of hearts and much sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Doreen Fleguel surrounded by her family on Thursday, March 31, 2022 in her 88th year. Doreen Fleguel (Behnke) of Schutt, is the beloved wife of Garfield Fleguel of 68 years and devoted & loving mother to Colleen (Robert Vassos), Mitchell (Kim) and Darrell (Darlene). Sister of Lois, Percy (the late Marlene), Raymond (Jean), Howard, Barbara (Bill Burgess), Calvin, Gary (Wilma) and Deanna (Laurie Vernick).
Doreen loved being in her kitchen where she spent endless hours baking and cooking for her family. She baked the best apple pie in the world, and every other kind of pie you can name, along with all our favourite cookies, cakes & squares. Her home was her castle and she constantly worked at keeping it clean and spotless. She will be deeply missed by her family and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
To the world you are a Mother but to your family Mom, you are the world. We will always hold you close within our hearts until we meet again in Heaven where we will spend eternity together.

Death notice for the town of: Killaloe, Province: Ontario
Dear Garfield, Colleen and families,
We were very saddened to hear of Doreen’s passing. She was a very nice and kind neighbour,
always a friendly wave from the garage. Also bringing Molly over to visit. We enjoyed her sharing fresh vegetables from her garden. Her fresh baked bread was so delicious!
Our sincere condolences, may your special memories of Doreen and your Mom bring you
continued love and peace;
Tom, Karen and Bobby Kocis
