Edward O Demont
1939-2022
Edward Demont of Moncton passed away at the Drew Nursing Home
in Sackville, NB on Monday, March 28, 2022. Born in
Harewood, he was the son of the late Omer and Hazel (Taylor)
Demont.
He was employed as a diesel mechanic and was an Owner
Operator for many years. He enjoyed building and fabricating in his
garage. He also enjoyed music as well as spending time with his family
and friends.
Edward will be dearly missed by his wife Elizabeth Demont
(Killam); daughters Karen Demont (Kathleen), Shelley Charbonneau
(Kenneth), and Dawn Dunn (Chris); son Scott Demont (Amy); sisters
Betty Herrington and Elaine Killam (Dale); brother Ralph Demont;
grandchildren Belinda, Sarah, Christina, Carly, Dylan, Andrew, Sarah
H., and Christopher; great-grandchildren Brooke, Raven, Addison,
Brian, Brayden, Bentley, Bryce, Autumn, Ivy, and Hailey. He was
predeceased by his parents.
Special thank you to the caregivers and support staff of the
Drew Nursing Home for the care and compassion given to Edward during
his stay.
A graveside service will be held at a later date for family
and close friends. Donations to the Alzheimer Society of
Canada or a charity of the donor’s choice would be
appreciated by Edward’s family. Online condolences
