Tamelia (Tammy) Lynne Jones, 64, of Strawberry Plains, went to her heavenly home on March 27th from a short illness, with her family by her side. She was a member of Sunset Heights Baptist Church, a 1975 graduate of Sevier County High School and a 1977 graduate of Draughon’s Business College. Tammy loved spending time with her family and going to the dirt track races with friends.
She is preceded in death by her loving father, Cleve Jones; brother, Rocky Jones; ex-husband, Paul Loy; sister-in-law, Patty Williams Jones; grandparents, Titas Jones, Dora Janette Smith Jones Hancock, Raymond Hillard, Sr., and Mayme Cate Hillard; and a longtime friend, Kathy Dile Thomas.
Tammy is survived by her mother, Tony Hillard Jones (her friend, Dave Neal); brother, Monte (Beverly) Jones; niece, Kayleigh Jones (Adam) Glover; nephew, Mitchell Jones; great nephew, Cooper Jay (CJ) Glover; uncle, RB (Evelyn) Hillard, Jr.; aunt, Andrea (RH) Jewell.
The family and friends will meet at Bridges Funeral Home at 9:30 AM, Wednesday, March 30, 2022 to process to Eastview Memorial Gardens for a 11 AM graveside service with Rev. Tim Fawver officiating.
