BURT, Neil – Passed peacefully away at his home on Thursday, March 24, 2022, Neil Burt of Ivany’s Cove, age 91 years. Predeceased by his wife Florence; sons Lloyd and Mervin; grandson Wayne Parsons; parents Bertha and Joseph Burt; step-father Dorman Bridger; brothers Raymond Burt, Sidney Burt, Everett Bridger and Allan Bridger; sister Maisie Foster; brothers-in-law Lloyd Foster, Con Beaton, Norman Pardy, Raymond Noble and Percy Penney; and sister-in-law Sadie Burt. Left with fond and loving memories his children Rowena (Calvin Gosse), Ruby (Robert Cooper) and Glenys (Glen Bailey); a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sisters Rowena Beaton, Greta Noble, Betty Penney and Audrey Pardy; sisters-in-law Doris Burt, Rita Bridger and Margaret Bridger; brother Woodrow Bridger (Paula); and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville. Public visitation on Saturday, March 26 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Fewer’s Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at the United Cemetery, Hillview.
