HARRY WILFRED “BILL” BROOKS
JANUARY 15, 1938 – MARCH 24, 2022
Peacefully, at Cedarwood Village in Simcoe on Thursday, March 24, 2022, Harry Wilfred “Bill” Brooks passed away at the age of 84 years. Beloved husband of the Late Katie Wraight (Wingrove) (2021). Proud and loving father of the Late Bonnie Pearce (2014), Teresa Taylor (Kerry Lannigan), Harry Fish (Beata) and Debbie Scrivener (the Late Ted (2021). Cherished grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Harry and Mary (O’Brien) Brooks, 2 sisters and 1 brother. Bill was an avid outdoorsman. He especially loved fishing and camping up north with Katie. Bill was a people person which suited his success as a salesman for many years. In keeping with Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held at the Tillsonburg Cemetery on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Bill Wiebe officiating. Memorial donations to the Alzheimers Society or the Cancer Society may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted with Bill’s arrangements.
