Billie Sunday Hankins Denney – age 99 of Knoxville went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. Member of Riverdale Baptist Church for the past 87 years.
Preceded in death by husband, Claude “Gene” Denney; parents, Charles E. and Bertha Mae Hankins, Sr.; and several brothers and sisters.
Survived by daughter, Connie Ramsey Breeden (Allen); grandchildren, Pamela Breeden (Kenny) Brown, Lisa Breeden (Scott) Rimmer; great grandchildren, Rachael Brown, Joshua Brown, Ethan Rimmer, Annie Rimmer, and Sarah Grace Rimmer; great great grandchildren, Brycen, Jayce, and Brooklynn; brother, Roy Hankins; and sister, Betty Hankins Kennedy.
The family will receive friends 5:00-6:00 PM Thursday, March 24, 2022, at Bridges Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet 10:45 AM on Friday at Asbury Cemetery for an 11:00 AM graveside service with Rev. Bradley Looper officiating.
