Obituary
Frances Marilyn Baltus (nee Reed) of Sparwood B.C. passed away on March 16, 2022. She was born in Toronto, Ontario on March 22, 1929.
Frances was predeceased by her husband Ron in 1999, twin sister Betty and brother Dick. She is survived by her five children: Nancy (John), Doug, Sandra, Keith (Wilmalea) and Murray (Shaun). She has eight grandchildren: Jennifer, John, Emily, Alana, Kari, Erin, Sarah and Brent and 10 great grandchildren.
Fran and Ron were married in Toronto and spent many years in southern Ontario before moving to the Yukon in 1981. Upon retirement they settled in Sparwood.
Fran attended Mountainside Community Church in Sparwood and had a strong faith in the Lord. Her most cherished times were spent with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She enjoyed playing the piano, bowling, knitting, crossword puzzles and was always up for a game of monopoly.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and medical staff at Elk Valley Hospital for their compassionate care of Frances while she was there.
