Laverne Laverne Penner 1941 2022

Obituary of Laverne Penner
PENNER, Laverne (Vernie) left this world peacefully on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at the age of 81. Laverne was predeceased by father Archie Sundwall; Mother Helen Dabrowski and brother Keith (Shirley). Laverne will be remembered with love and gratitude by her three sisters, Evie (Tom), Carolyn (Mervin), Donna (Cliff); four children, Brock, Todd, Nicky (Boyd) and Trena (Greg); five grandchildren, Josh, Tempest (Theron), Kassidy (Karim), Brett (Kaleb), Baylee; three great- grandchildren, Ryder, Ranger, and Oaklee; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Laverne will always be known as the strongest, bravest, and kindest woman you would ever meet. She adored being around her children, grandchildren, and the rest of the family, always giving a listening ear and many laughs. Laverne volunteered throughout the community doing many bake sales and cooking for different functions. She loved to cook and bake, especially for her family who devoured every piece of it. Laverne knew everyone’s birthdays and anniversaries, even people she’d just met. She kept up to date with everyone’s lives and was always wishing them well. Laverne got along with the birds just fine, except for the crows; they had something else coming to them. She would go outside each morning to feed the birds that flew onto the tree; there was a new type of bird landing daily. Laverne was a kind soul and will be deeply missed by all.
Laverne’s celebration of life will be held at a later date.
