Leonard (Len) John Anthony Weikum
July 30, 1939 – March 01, 2022
On the morning of March 01, 2022, Leonard John Weikum passed peacefully to his Heavenly home with his wife Sheila and his son Jeff at his side.
Len will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years and his children: Jeff (Fay)Weikum, Tammy(Len) Gaucher, and Debbie (Greg) Arkles. Len was blessed with 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren all of whom he loved dearly. Len is survived also by his brothers Gerald (Carlynn) Weikum and John Weikum, as well as his sister Doreen (Leon) Breton.
Len was predeceased by his parents John and Wilma Weikum, brother Robert (Judy) Weikum, sister Eleanor (Alan) Pletz, and sister-in-law Judy Weikum.
Len served 25 years with the Canadian Air Force, including a 6 month tour with the United Nations in Yemen. Upon retirement he drove a school bus for the special children at John Chisholm School at Moose Jaw, Sask. In 1987 Len began living his dream on a farm south of Caron, Sask. with his horses being his favorite critters. In 2012 Len & Sheila relocated to the mountains at Kamloops, British Columbia to enjoy another dream.
We would like to thank all the staff at Overlander Care Home, especially those in Blueberry and in Orchard. Your compassion, patience, and loving care has been greatly appreciated.

A celebration of Life will be held later this summer at Moose Jaw, Sask.
