It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Madeline (Wilson) Byrd who went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at 79 years of age. Predeceased by her parents Ira and Vera Wilson and by her eldest daughter Alonda Graham. Loving mother of Johnie Graham (Tracey), Lawrence Moore Jr (Heather), Carla Chime (Phillip), Gregory Moore (Tammy), John Moore (Natalee) and Roxanne Jelks (Andre). Madeline absolutely loved being a Grandmother to Antionette, Kayla, Andre, Andrew, Anteisha, Phillip Jr., Jonah, Jordan, Micah, Titus, Kaven, J.J, and Maddy and her 4 great grandchildren Devin, Amaira, Aliveah and Adrianna. She also leaves behind many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Madeline was known for her stunning blue eyes. She loved to laugh, tell stories with her friends/ family and always enjoyed attending family events. In her spare time she loved winning at bingo and fishing in Amherstburg. She was a proud member of St. Mark Evangelical Church in Colchester. She will be missed by everyone that knew her. Please join us in celebrating her life. If you desire memorial tributes to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Visitation to take place on Thursday March 24, 2022 from 5-8 pm at Families First, 585 Sandwich St. S, Amherstburg, 519-969-5841. On Friday March 25, 2022 family and friends are requested to meet at St. Marks Evangelical Church (45 Draper Street, Harrow) for further visitation from 10 am until time of service at 11 am.
