Passed away peacefully with his wife and son by his side. Loving husband to Ivanda De Cecco and loving father to Enrico De Cecco and wife Amy. Extremely proud nonno to Matteo and Viviana. Predeceased by parents Daniele and Santa De Cecco. Renato will be missed by his sisters Maria De Cecco (late Silvio) of Windsor, twin Caterina De Cecco (late Silvio) of Italy, Mirella Dell’Agnese (Romeo) of Switzerland and sister-in-law Lidia Della Mea (Nico) of Italy. Predeceased by brothers Pietro, Guerrino (late Vilma) and sister Gisella Feregotto (late Alfredo). Very special Barbe Renato to many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada, Braulins (Italy), Germany and Switzerland.
Renato was a long-time employee at Colautti Brothers, specializing in terrazzo. Renato was a quiet man who enjoyed the simple things in life such as making wine, travelling back to his native home of Braulins, Friuli, watching his beloved Udinese Calcio and being a full-time nonno. Renato was a well-known member of the Fogolar Furlan Club since 1962, a proud Alpin and member of the Associazione Nazionale Alpini (Windsor) and long-time member of LIUNA. Mandi Renato!
Visitation Wednesday, March 16th from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Prayers starting at 7 p.m. at Families First, 3260 Dougall Avenue, South Windsor. Funeral Thursday, March 17, 2022 leaving the funeral home at 9:45 a.m. for Mass at 10:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church, 1400 Cabana Road West. Entombment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
