With great sadness, the family of Brenda Jean Hare (Johnstone) announces her passing on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at Grey-Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound, in her 64th year. Brenda grew up on a farm outside of Lucknow and recently lived in Walkerton.
Dear friend of David Milner, mother of Steven (Laura) Hare, and grandparent to Kesler and Leighton. Cherished baby sister of Tony (Donna) Johnstone, Brian (Linda) Johnston, both of Lucknow, Donnie Johnstone of Vancouver, Murray (Myrna) Johnstone of Calgary, Joyce Anne (Lin) Hewitt of Kincardine, Sandra (Glen) Opperman of Formosa. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews who will all miss her dearly.
Brenda is now reunited with her pre-deceased daughter Melissa and her parents James and Joyce (nee Norman) Johnstone.
Brenda was well known for her artistic abilities, love of music, dancing and her sense of humour.
Friends and relatives are invited for visitation at Cameron’s in Walkerton from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. A livestream will be available of the 11:00 a.m. service through Brenda’s memorial page.
