Lucy Margaret Malmberg (nee Daub)
1918 – 2022
Lucy Margaret Malmberg (nee Daub) was born August 18, 1918, in Champion, Alberta to Peter and Bertha (nee Solomon) Daub. She was the eighth of ten children. She passed away peacefully on March 3, 2022, at the age of 103! Lucy married Clinton Melvin (Mel) Malmberg on January 7, 1944, and together they raised six children.
She is survived by her children Kenneth, Linda, Richard (Rick), Kirk and Kevin as well as her grandchildren, Suzanne, Steven, Sheilah, Shane, Shawna, Scott, Mandy, Nicki, Ryan and Reed as well as numerous great-grandchildren.
Lucy was predeceased by her husband Mel in 1989, her son in law Clive Rutland in 2000, her son Duane in 2009, her great-grandson Mitchell in 2018 and all nine of her siblings.
She was a wonderful mother-in-law to her daughter in laws, Deb, Loyia and Janet. Lucy was a kind and gentle woman who worked hard her whole life and never had anything bad to say about anyone. She loved her family more than anything and she was proud of each and every one of them.

A Celebration of Lucy’s Life will be held on Saturday March 19, 2022 at 2:00pm at Snodgrass Funeral Home, High River
