Obituary
Walter Bourgeois of Memramcook passed away on March 9, 2022 at the CHU Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital at the age of 74. Born in Memramcook-East on February 1, 1948, he was the son of the late Pat and Amanda (LeBlanc) Bourgeois. He worked as a welder at Canadian Scale in Toronto until his retirement. Walter loved hunting, fishing playing horseshoe and cribbage. He was always full of life and he was adventurist. He will be sadly missed by his fiancé Leonise Deware, two daughters, Debbie (Bruno) Boudreau of Grand-Barachois and Donna (Edgar) LeBlanc of Haute-Aboujagane, one son, Brian Bourgeois of Dieppe, four grandchildren, Réné, André, Jason and Jessy, one great grandson, Bentley, one sister, Jeanne (Alderice) LeBlanc of Irishtown, two brothers Leonard (Irene) Bourgeois of St-Joseph and Eugene Bourgeois of Irishtown and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Dora and by two brothers, Georgie and Danny. Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Sunday March 13 from 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral mass will be held at the Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church on Monday March 14 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
