June Van Delinder Hogge 2022

June passed away peacefully on March 4, 2022, with her son Tom by her side, after a recent decline in her health. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Thomas John (2004) and her parents, George and Honor Hogge. June was born and raised in Windsor. She was Head Laboratory Technician at East Side General Hospital, Detroit, for 25 years. June and Tom enjoyed many vacations at Clearwater Beach, Florida. June was an accomplished pianist and loved all classical music and even entertained her fellow residents at her retirement home (at age 95!). June loved her family unconditionally. She remembered to send birthday cards to every member of her family (23) right up until her death. June had a wealth of knowledge but was always eager to learn.
She was our confidante, our source of strength, our advisor, our guiding light. June will be dearly missed by her children, Tom Jr. (Nancy), Kim (Brian) Pedersen, White Rock, B.C. and Tod (Odilla) and her grandchildren Amy (Matt),Tom(Renee),Kurt (Norie) and Beth, Shawn (Samantha) and Jenny (Jay), Julia (Rob) and Olivia. June was the much loved great-grandmother (and Gigi) of Alex, Will, Tommy and Clara, Austin, Cole, Sydney and Brendan.
A special thank you to Chartwell Oak Park La Salle Retirement Residence for their good care of June.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the M.S. Society of Canada, which was June’s charity of choice (Kim).
A private family funeral will be held at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor, 519-969-584.
Forever in our hearts.
