In loving memory of Ernest Joseph Obraz, 90 years, who passed away Tuesday, March 1st, 2022 at Health Sciences North. He joins his beloved wife Adele (nee Schwarz) who passed away February 16, 2022. Predeceased by his parents Ernst and Annaand sister Anna. Brother of Willi of Linz, Austria. Father of Christine Hager (husband John Hager) of Orillia. Cherished Opaof Jason Elson (wife Kristin Zazelenchuk) and Matthew Elson (partner Amy) of Midhurst and great Opa to Brandt, Allia and Jamison. Born in Austria in 1931, Ernest emigrated to Canada in the early 1950s. He worked at Vale as a labourer, propane fitter and hoisting engineer. He also enjoyed fishing and his time at camp.
There will be no visitation or service. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to Sudbury Pet Save or Sudbury SPCA would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Lougheed Funeral Home. For donations or messages of condolence www.lougheedfuneralhomes.com.
