Elizabeth “Betty” Eavis (nee Hall)
December 24, 1935 – March 7, 2022

Passed peacefully away on March 7, 2022 at St. Luke’s Home, embraced in the love and warmth of her family, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s Disease, our beloved mother Elizabeth “Betty” Eavis (nee Hall), in her 87th year. Predeceased by her husband Ernest A. Rideout; son Ernest Scott Rideout; parents Catherine and John Hall; brother Jack Hall; sister Marie Murphy; and niece Cathy McKeown. Leaving to mourn with broken hearts children: Suzanne Stacey, Bob Rideout and Nancie Psomopoulos (Andy); grandchildren: Rob Rideout, Jennifer Rideout (fiancé Chris Ryan), Nicholas and Kara Stacey, Devo and Ariadne Psomopoulos; sisters Catherine Hodder (Jim, deceased) and Sheila Lacey (Alex); sister-in-law Catherine Hall; nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Pleasantview Terrace Unit at St. Luke’s for the excellent and professional care and compassion provided to Mom over the years. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation will take place on Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service from Caul’s Chapel on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. Flowers gratefully accepted, or donations to Pleasantview Terrace, St. Luke’s Home in Mom’s memory are very much appreciated.
