Funnell, Ann (nee Lynch)
August 18, 1930 – March 6, 2022
Passed away peacefully at Carveth Care Centre on Sunday March 6, 2022 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Funnell. Much loved mother of Gus (Delia), Chris (Carol), Steve (Mary), Mary Lou, Pat (Arlene), Madonna (Wilson), John (Phyllis), Phillip, Monica (John) and Matthew (Tamara). Cherished grandmother of Amber, Christa, Amanda, Heather, Jason, Christine, Mary Ann, Jeana, Dana, Adam, Sarah, Shane, Riley, Cameron, Colleen, Meredith, Brooke and Jacob. Great grandmother of Berai, Risa, Jacie, Christopher, Evan, Gracie, Gabriel, Jessica, Kingston, Kash, Jeremy, Arianna, Madison, Aveleigh, Alice, Eli (deceased – cherished twin to Alice), Abigail, Owen, and the ever growing great-grandchild generation. Dear sister of Mary Pickett and Robert Lynch. Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Alice Fowler and brother Augustine Lynch. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home on Friday, March 11 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 12 at 11:00 am at St. John’s the Evangelist Catholic Church, Gananoque. Rite of Committal St. Brendan’s Cemetery in Rockport will follow. The family would appreciate donations in lieu of flowers to St. Brendan’s Church, Rockport or McMaster’s Children’s Hospital, Hamilton.
