Orval’s Obituary
A long-time resident and member of Duncan’s First Nation (Alberta), Orval A Gladue began his journey to Jesus his saviour March 2, 2022. He was was born March 16, 1939, to William Gladue and Virginia Testawiche.
Orval lived a full and adventurous life. Once a hard-working man, heavy equipment operator. He competed in many rodeos and talent shows. He loved traveling and riding his Harley. He was a member of the National old timers rodeo association, Christian riders association and a Respected Elder of Treaty 8 First Nations of Alberta.
As we gently let him go, his forever lasting memories remain here with us.
Orval was a Brother to Florence Gladue; Father to Virginia (Martha) Gladue, Leonard Gladue, Linda Gladue, (pre deceased sons Nelson and Charles). He was Moshum to Joanna Gladue, Jordan, Jessica, and Joshua Hall; Cree and Cheyanne Lizotte; Great-grandfather to Quentin, Conor, and Rayya Gladue; Piercen and Paislee Hall.
Funeral services for Orval Gladue will be held:
Wake – March 7/22 @ 1:00 pm
Funeral services March 8/22 @ 11:00am. Both will be held at Duncan’s First Nation JTM with Brent & Priscilla Badger officiating.
Internment at Duncan’s First Nation Cemetery.
Followed by Fellowship at DFN JTM Centre.
Donations can be made to any homeless shelter, in Orval’s name.
