“I want to be the moon
Or at least something important to somebody.”
The devastating grief felt by all of us, their family, friends, Mill Bay Co-op coworkers, customers and past teachers shows just how important they were to everyone who encountered them and everyone who loved them.
Left behind in forever sadness are parents Richard and Katrina, sisters Kelly and Bria, grandparents Terry and Angela Gustafson, great grampa Bob Haines, Uncle Michael Grounds and family, Uncle Jeremy Gustafson, great great Aunty Jean Miller and Aunty Judy Hallinan.
Whether you knew our beloved child as Aidan, as Kate, or as Cass, please join us to share memories, smiles and many tears on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 at HW Wallace Cremation and Burial Centre, 5285 Polkey Road, Duncan, BC. If you can, please bring a written memory of when they made you feel special or filled you with laughter. If not a memory, please bring a song that holds meaning for you as music was everything to them.
Lastly, in lieu of flowers, please consider donating, in the name of Kate Grounds, to Cowichan Valley Youth Services. In five years of struggle, only in the last year of their life did they finally find a counsellor whom they could confide in. cvyouth.ca/donate/
