Obituary for Joseph Paul Madacsi
Joseph Paul Madacsi passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022. Born in Hamilton, Ontario on March 25, 1934. Beloved husband of Marilyn (nee Adams) for 66 years. Loving father of Paul, proud grandpa of Jennifer (James) Snider and Jessica (Patrick Picard) Madacsi, and great grandpa of Aaron and Avalynn Snider and Arizona Picard. He was predeceased by a great granddaughter Kinsley Picard (2016). And his parents Margaret Bozoky and Marton Madacsi.
Joe served with Ontario Provincial Police for 30 years London, Petrolia Municipal (1960-1962), Woodstock, and returning and retiring from the Petrolia detachment as Corporal. He was a member of the Lions Club of Petrolia for 49 years was Lions District Governor in 1990-91. Joe was also a member of the Petrolia and District Pilots Association.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Parents for Parks (www.sarniacommunityfoundation.ca).
