Veronica Kenny
Passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at the Ressource Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix at the age of 91 years. Vera fought a long, brave and courageous battle with Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease. She will be deeply missed and always honoured by all people who knew and loved her for her kindness, caring towards others, and tremendous love for her family and friends.
Mom was predeceased by her beloved husband (Henry Harvey) and her son (Larry) as well as her many sisters, brothers, step-brother and step-sister. She leaves behind to mourn, her children (Gord [Joanne], Billy and Trish), sister and lifelong friend (Helen Kenny), grandchildren (Kyle, Lauren, Chelsea, Carlie, and Rebecca), great grandchildren (Chase, Paris, Macy, Jaxson, and Charlie), Canadian and American nieces and nephews as well as all of her friends and caring staff at the Ressource Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix.
The family will receive condolences on Friday, March 11, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Urgel Bourgie / Athos – Funeral Complex (1275, av. Dollard, LaSalle, Quebec, H8N 2J1). Her funeral service will be held at St. Thomas More church (980 Moffat Avenue, Verdun, Quebec H4H-1Y9) on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 1 p.m. We kindly ask that all visitors please follow current government restrictions. A celebration of her life and burial will take place during June at the Field of Honour, Pointe-Claire, Quebec.
