At the Queen
Elizabeth Hospital, the passing of Wayne Bell age 74, of Belle River,
loving husband of 50 years to Thelma (Acorn) Bell, occurred with
family by his side on Thursday, March 3, 2022. Born May 14, 1947, he
was the son of the late Neil and Annie Florence (Compton) Bell. Wayne
is survived by children, Billy (Amanda) Bell, Tommy (Mairi) Matheson ;
cherished grandchildren, Abigayle, Neely and Quinn; sisters-in-law,
Jennie MacLean, Laura Compton, Millie MacLean; brothers-in-law, Louis
Acorn, Alfie Acorn; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers,
Lorne, Keith, Angus; sisters Doris and Audrey. Wayne was the last
surviving member of his immediate family.
As per request, no visiting at the Funeral Home.
Private family Service by invitation only will be held on Thursday,
March 10, 2022 at 11:00 am, with live streaming. Interment to take
place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and
Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Online condolences may be made
