RIVARD, Jean (nee Barrette)
Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side, on March 3, 2022. Cherished wife to Norman with whom she shared 57 years of marriage. Loving mother to Norm Rivard Jr., Brenda (Steve) Rice and Vanessa (Rob) Zivkovic. Treasured Memé to Mason (Amanda), Abbey (Andrew), Tomas, and Tyson. Reunited with her parents, Seville and Angelina Barrette. Dear sister to the late Orval (the late Helen and the late Yvette) Barrette, the late Lorraine (the late Bruno) Piccinato, the late Victor (the late Rita) Barrette, the late Felix (the late Delia) Barrette, the late Agnes (the late Alvin) Fauteux, the late Rose (the late Alvin) O’Keefe, the late Norman (the late Lorraine and the late Betty), the late Paul (the late Theresa) Barrette, Edna (the late Larry) Lanoue, Leonard (the late Agnes) Barrette, the late Richard (Sharon) Barrette, twins, Leona and Virginia Barrette, the late Vince (the late Gail) Barrette, the late Deanna (Peter, and the late wife Arlene) Colautti, the late John (the late Sandy) Barrette. Sister-in-law to Tom (Cathy) Rivard, and Bob (Jenn) Rivard. Jean will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. She loved her family deeply, and always strived to make her house a beautiful home. Her love of music and the Grand Ole Opry was always cherished. Our family takes great strength and comfort knowing that our wife and mother was a born-again Christian, and that she is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Avenue 519-253-7234 on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Chapel service to take place on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at 10am. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, and for those who wish, memorial donations can be made to the Parkwood Gospel Church Food Bank.
