Obituary of Edgar John Comeau
Edgar passed away peacefully in St. Paul’s Hospital, Saskatoon, SK. with family by his side on Thursday, Feb. 17th, 2022.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nicole of 46 years and son, Danny (Tracy and son, Cameron). Also, surviving are four sisters, Diana (Oscar), Benita (Gerard), Martha (Terry), and Angela; three brothers, Danny (Maria), Blair (Nola), and Perry (Denise); and many nieces and nephews.
Edgar was predeceased by his parents, Denis and Lorraine Comeau; sister, Cecilia; and infant sister, Brenda.
Edgar grew up and attended school in Bouctouche, NB. He left home at a young age and found work in construction. This line of work took him to many places, eventually moving to Saskatoon where he resided for 45 years.
Edgar was an outdoorsman and loved fishing, camping and boating. He also had a passion for gardening.
Edgar was a gifted storyteller and had many adventures to share.
He retired from SouthCenter Auto in 2017.
Edgar had many, many friendships, including his co-workers and he will be sadly missed by everyone.
The family would like to express thanks for the amazing care and support from Palliative Homecare and palliative care in St. Paul’s Hospital.
