It is with great sadness that our family announces the

grandfather, uncle and brother. Wayne Adelbert Gates was
born in Middleton, NS, a son of the late William and Evelyn (Pickett)

In addition to his beloved wife of nearly 50 years, he will
be forever in the hearts of and greatly missed by his children:
Christopher (Gilbert), Wayne (Amy), Melody (Ian), Terri (John) and
Shannon; his grandchildren: David, Michael, Branden, Nathaniel,
Madison, Abigail, Matthew, Zachary, Gracey, Chase, Riley, Zoe and
Callen; great grandchildren Logan and Harlee; brothers Gary, Tony and
Larry; brother-in-law Arnold, sister-in-law Dannielle and Goddaughter
Alison; many nieces, nephews and extended family; including his very
special nephew Rodney (Joy) and great nephew Liam and his fur babies
Sookie and Marley.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brother
Brian and sister Bette.
