Enos’ Obituary
MUISE, Enos William – age 71, Quinan, Yarmouth Co., passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022 in Digby General Hospital with his family at his side. Born July 11, 1950 in Melbourne, Yarmouth Co., he was a son of the late Francis and Frances (Saulnier) Muise. Enos began working as a carpet layer after which he worked as a lobster fisherman until his retirement. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and also enjoyed fishing. He loved to make people laugh and will be remembered as being a jokester. He enjoyed playing the guitar and was always singing or whistling a tune. After his retirement he enjoyed driving people around, whether it was a quick trip to town or to the airport in Halifax. Family was everything to Enos and he was always there for them and all his friends. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 51 years, Marion (Muise) Muise, as well as by their children, Theresa (Tony) Muise, Quinan; Cathy Frotten (Stephen Doucette), Quinan and Lisa Muise, Morinville, AB; grandchildren, Robin and Riley Muise; Austin and Connor Frotten; Christina, Justin and Jessica Muise, as well as by great grandchildren, Kylie, Jaden, Barrett, Sophie and Charlotte. He also helped raise and was a “father” to Steve Muise, David Muise, Martin Muise and Jason Muise. Also surviving are brothers, Gilbert (Charmaine) Muise, Arcadia; Ivan Muise (Dave Nicholson), Yarmouth; Herbert “Herbie” Muise, Melbourne; Judith (Gordon) Deal, Halifax; Elizabeth “Liz” (Joseph) Muise, Dartmouth and Alice (Robert) Boudreau, Melbourne. Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by an infant son, Enos William Muise Jr., as well as by a sister, Lennie Muise and brothers, Charlie and Frank Muise. In accordance with his wishes, cremation will take place and a celebration of life will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Nova Scotia.
