Obituary of Teresa Flora Shannon
It is with heartfelt sorrow, the family of Teresa Shannon, of Hampton, announce her passing on February 17th 2022 at Bobby’s Hospice, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Moncton on September 9, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Isobel (Wood) Godsoe. Teresa with employed with Gorman Nason as a Legal Assistant for many years until her retirement. Teresa enjoyed camping, spending countless summers at Pine Cone Campground in Sus. She cherished her family and enjoyed watching them grow.
Teresa is survived by her daughters; Jodie Alleyne (Paul) of Hampton, and Kara de Man (Kris) of Quispamsis; grandchildren; Ariel, Braden, and Jasper Alleyne, and Nick, and Willem de Man, as well as many extended family and friends.
In keeping with Teresa’s wishes there will be no funeral service. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 21st from 5-8pm at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (506-849-2119).
Remembrances in memory of Teresa can be made to Bobby’s Hospice.
Due to Covid-19 health measures placed on indoor gatherings by the Government of New Brunswick, all those 12 and older attending the visitation will be required to show proof of vaccination and a piece of government-issued ID or proof of medical exemption.
