Usher, Esme Muriel
1926-2022
Passed away suddenly at Grand River Hospital on February 13, 2022. She entered hospital after a fall which broke her pelvis. She remained in hospital for 8 days and was scheduled to go to Golden nursing home, but unfortunately, did not. For the last two years of her life she lived with her son Nick and daughter-in-law Jan. She particularly enjoyed their friends Lorraine and Mary, and cat Teddy.
She was the mother of three children, the late Shannon Brand (the late Helen), Jennifer Little (Ken), Nick Brand (Jan), and grandchildren Leona Brand (Mike), Lesley Pugliese (Matt), Christine Gomes (Didio), Shane Brand, the late Jacqueline, the late Jason, Stephanie (Chad), Nicole (Travis), and many great-grandchildren.
She was a great lady, loved by all, and will be remembered for her wonderful and generous ways. Thank you to all the PSW’s that helped her during her last years, particularly Tonya, Nancy, Alisha and Lee.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
