Irene (Aunty Rene) passed away peacefully on February 4, 2022 at the age of 74 surrounded by close family.
Predeceased by her parents Glendon and Dorothy Sherneck, two brothers Gordon and Grant and Sister-in- Law Evelyn. Loving and missing her are her sister, Willow (Dennis), nieces and nephews, Allan (Donna); Deborah (Steven); Angela (Marcel); Brian (Vicki); Melissa (Kris); Alison (Danny); Carrie (Rabin) and their families including 13 grand nieces and nephews and 9 great-grand nieces and nephews; as well as many cousins and friends.
Special thanks to everyone at Eagle Ridge Hospital, especially to the staff of Unit W2B for the exceptional care and support they provided to Irene and her loved ones.
The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life for Irene sometime in late spring or summer 2022.
